The Palace Of Versailles is located in Versailles,France.It is over 300 years old and took over 50 years to make.
This palace contains thousand and thousands and thousands of pieces of artwork. To be precise 24,729 pieces. This palace also contains 5,210 pieces,67 sets of stairs,2,300 rooms,2,153 windows. You can also find the hall of mirrors in this mega-structure.
The Palace of Versailles is EXTREMELY big. Its floor area is 67,000 m2. All of this must have cost a lot and it did. It cost 2,000,000,000 euros ($ 3,444,817,205,74). It is considered a popular tourist attraction.
Along with a palace there are extensive garden displays. The gardens were built and put in motion by Louis XIV (Louis the 14).The gardens also have an amazing amout of fountains. Which was probably the most complex system of its time. Most of these fountains are still working today.
This SPECTACULAR building is an amazing gallery (art) that the French are lucky to have.
